Designer Showhouse Experience
At the Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York and Mansion in May, carpets and textiles are more than finishing details—they help define each designer’s vision. Costikyan has supported these celebrated showhouses with the specialized care required for thoughtfully composed interiors.
In 2023, our team provided expert carpet installation for spaces by Neal Beckstedt Studio and Sasha Bikoff at Kips Bay. At Mansion in May’s historic Three Fields estate, Fiber-Shield protection and post-event cleaning helped preserve the showhouse’s fine fabrics and furnishings.
That same understanding of materials and craftsmanship informs every professional wall-to-wall carpet cleaning project. From wool broadloom and natural fibers to custom designer installations, our specialists provide tailored on-site care for fine homes and luxury interiors throughout the Northeast.
Available for showhouse partnerships. Costikyan supports designer teams throughout the Northeast with carpet installation, professional cleaning, fiber protection, and post-event textile care.

Most luxury carpets need professional cleaning every 12-18 months under typical use. High-traffic areas may require service every 6-9 months, while formal spaces can extend longer. We assess your specific installation’s traffic patterns, fiber type, and condition to recommend a schedule that protects your investment.
Absolutely. Delicate materials are our specialty. We work with silk blends, hand-tufted construction, natural fibers, and materials like cashmere or linen that require customized pH levels, controlled extraction, and specialized drying. Our specialists assess your carpet’s composition before treatment, ensuring deep cleaning while protecting the qualities that make these materials valuable.
Yes—these installations require the zone-specific expertise we provide for homes throughout NYC, New Jersey, Connecticut, and the greater I-95 Northeast Corridor. We assess where different materials meet (e.g., wool bodies with silk borders, geometric inlays in natural fibers), then customize treatment for each zone. This prevents color bleeding or fiber damage while thoroughly cleaning intricate patterns, borders, and the surrounding carpet.
Yes, Costikyan can quickly come and take care of a stain that needs to be cleaned right away. We spot clean in between regular cleanings so you can once again enjoy a fresh, unspotted space.
